How did Nikken manage to put advanced PiMag Water Technology into a compact filtration system that operates without plumbing? In this unique design, just as in every Nikken innovation, the technology in the PiMag Aqua Pour is based on natural forces. The system uses gravity and the natural properties of water. The PiMag Aqua Pour features several stages of filtration. Water entering the system first passes through a microsponge prefilter that reduces particulates. Or use the supplied ceramic prefilter instead, for more intensive filtration at this stage. Additional filtering is performed by ion exchange resin, activated carbon and zeolite. Carbon has been employed in laboratories and hospitals for centuries as a simple, natural form of filtration. Zeolite is a granular material that has exceptional filtering properties.
